Elongated variety of relatively rare and localized Asian Job's Tear, from the family of sugar cane, corn, rice or bamboo (poaceae) probably originating from Burma, it is a perennial grass that can reach 1.50m and likes ditches or river banks, this variety also adapts to drier ground.
