Superb marbled seeds of approximately 10mm in length, 7mm in width, variable colors and shapes, marbled, they are sometimes used in local crafts and jewelry.

Cow'itch seeds are recommended by traditional Ayurvedic medicine and complementary medicines to treat Parkinson's disease. The L-dopa contained in these seeds promotes the production of growth hormone. Mucuna pruiens is commonly used throughout the world in fodder and green manure crops.

The stinging hairs of its pods can be used as scratching hairs. We collected these seeds in Madagascar in 2015, their viability is not guaranteed.
