Superb regular and perfectly polished Entada seed, approximately 42mm in diameter and 12mm thick. It is the seed of the longest liana in the plant kingdom, the immense dry pods of Entada rheedii fragment with bad weather, compartments fall into the water and the seeds are sometimes found at sea carried by the currents until Europe! In Norway and Great Britain, these drifting seeds are considered real good luck charms and talismans to ward off the devil... In Connemara in Ireland they were slipped under the mattress to scare away evil spirits.
